Not sure if having no choice but to adopt Neo is real choice. Or that being mentally/financially/politically, and otherwise economically enslaved by the system to such an extent that we cannot choose to be free means more than one choice or that the “new” system would indeed offer choices at all.

It is becoming increasingly clear that true decentralisation does not exist. The “new” system is as flawed as the old one. It allows the quick formation of an “elite”, who in turn hold more power/have more say than thr majoroty, and/or are able to sway the market one way or another using their weight alone, etc.(PoW, and PoS are both suspectible), because that is just another form of centralisation. Nah, I don’t see this as choice, or even as being anything new, really.

As it is now, all that is really happening is the transformation of the old ways into seemingly new ones. If you wash away the hype that surrounds everything blockchain and crypto that occupies people’s attention for long enough to prevent them from looking behind it, you’ll find the same old basket of rotten apples. The “new" economy might come with a personel change (different ones forming the new “elite”), but not a paradigm shift. The latter is what we need.
